Because of the number of people that I visit every day it is essential that I take the risk of COVID 19 very seriously, for myself, my family and for my customers.
I have taken all governmental advice regarding COVID since it first became a concern to our country. I locked down for 7 weeks during the height of the first wave and have been sensible since. Neither I or anyone else in my family have had symptoms.
I wear face coverings at all jobs whilst inside and wash or sanitise hands before and after every job.
I have the NHS COVID TRACKING APP active on my phone and will respond to any demands to lock down if it becomes necessary.
I've had all three vaccinations offered to me.
I have avoided catching the virus so far and am trying to keep it that way!
What you can do:
Please let me know if you have COVID, any symptoms or if you are self isolating.
Please observe social distancing. I do like to communicate well with my customers, but please don't stand closer than necessary when we are talking.
As much as I take extra care when working in people's kitchens, you may want to cover any food products for your own peace of mind.
I don't expect you to freeze yourselves but, if you want to leave windows and/or doors open to improve airflow I quite understand... and in some instances I might even be glad.
